ACADEMY MICRO eLEARNING INTAKE FORM

This form is the starting point for every Micro eLearning module built by The Academy. By capturing the who, what, where, when, why, and how of your training need, we can build a focused, high-impact video that reinforces live sessions and drives real behavior change across our operations teams.

A well-completed intake means a better module — faster. The details you provide here directly shape the script, visuals, and learning outcomes. Take 15–30 minutes to fill this out thoroughly and you will see the difference in what gets built.

This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.

WHAT

Topic and content details for the module.
Example: "How to Write a Professional Email" or "What is Micro eLearning?"
Link to the LMS module this supports.
Describe the topic in plain language — as if explaining it to someone who has never heard of it. Example: "This module explains what micro eLearning is: short 2–5 minute videos designed to be watched before or after a live training session."
List 2–4 things a learner should know or be able to do after watching. Example: "1. Define micro eLearning. 2. Understand how it fits the Academy path. 3. Know what to expect before and after a live session."
Reference any policies, procedures, processes, or presentation slides that will inform this module.

WHY

Purpose and impact of this module.
What problem does it solve or what opportunity does it unlock? Speak from the learner's perspective. Example: "Without context, employees spend the first 20 minutes of live sessions getting oriented instead of learning."
After completing this module, what should change — in behavior, knowledge, or performance? Example: "A learner arrives at their first Academy session knowing the format and how to engage — zero logistics questions for the facilitator."
Articulating the cost of skipping helps us frame urgency inside the module itself.

HOW

Delivery and tone preferences.
Specific terminology, policy names, phrases, or visuals that must appear in this module.
Topics, phrases, or approaches that should not appear in this module.
After watching, what's the call to action? What comes next in the learning journey? Example: "Register for the upcoming instructor-led session in the Academy LMS."
